First Reading and Recommendation of Ordinance 6087,  An Ordinance to Create a Vice Chairperson for the Capital Improvements Committee by Amending Subsection 3.16.090A of the Rapid City Municipal Code
Summary:
This ordinance adds a Vice Chairperson for the Capital Improvements Committee.  Earlier this year, the Committee was changed to be a committee of aldermen, without staff or planning commissioners as voting members.  At that time, a Chairperson to be appointed by the Council was written into the ordinance.  This change would bring the Committee in line with the Legal & Finance and Public Works Committees, which each have a Chair and Vice Chair.
