The Mt. Rushmore Road Group is requesting the installation of additional roadway enhancements as shown in Concept 3. Installation of these additional improvements will cost an additional $1M above the already allocated amount of $5.1M. Staff believes that the current plans (which will include landscaped medians, grass boulevards with trees where requested by the property owners) meets the concept proposed in the Mt. Rushmore Road Corridor Development plan that was adopted by the City Council on July 6, 2010 (see pages 45-51 and 65). |
