|
Zandstra Construction, Inc. and ZCO, Inc. entered into an agreement with the City in February 2008 to defer construction of required infrastructure improvements for Lots 8, 9, 17, 22 and 23 in the Marlin Industrial Park Development. The deferred improvements were to be constructed by February 1, 2010 or the City could draw on the Applicant’s surety and complete the improvements, with subsequent amendments to the agreement extending the completion date to February 1, 2011, February 1, 2013 and February 1, 2015. The Applicant has requested another two (2) year extension of the agreement to allow construction of the deferred improvements in conjunction with the installation of street improvements along Marlin Drive between Marlin Industrial Park and Minnesota Street. The Applicant has maintained a continuous bond in the amount of $108,172.95 throughout the duration of these agreements to guarantee the installation of the improvements. |
