|
Amendment #15-002 to the 2015-2018 Transportation Improvement Program defers an Interstate Maintenance Project from 2016 to 2017, defers a State Highway System Urban Project in Rapid City from 2015 to 2018, defers three State Highway Urban System Projects from 2016 and 208 to the Developmental STIP, and defers a Local Urban Systems Project from 2015 to 2018. Due to the heavy work load in Rapid City area specifically and the region on a whole, the cost of projects is higher than estimated due to the shortage of available contractors. It has become prudent to defer the identified projects to balance the work load and encourage more competitive bids. |
