Agenda Title:

Authorize Mayor and Finance Officer to Sign Grant Funding Applications through the Transportation Alternatives Program for the Sweet Creek Spur Trail located just east of Deadwood Avenue and authorize the Mayor and Finance Officer to sign the associated documents if funds are awarded.

Summary:

The Sweet Creek (Deadwood Avenue) Spur Trail will be an extension of Rapid City’s paved bike path system. The Sweet Creek Bike Path Spur trail will provide the most direct and scenic route to serve both the businesses and the residential area in this part of town while removing pedestrians from a busy and noisy highway.
