|
The existing fee resolution includes an application charge of $250.00 for an appeal to the Building Board of Appeals. The Building Board of Appeals considers two basic forms of appeals including an appeal to the provisions within the Building Code requirements and an appeal either from a contractor or citizen regarding an action taken by the Building Official concerning a contractor’s license. Staff is requesting a revision to the fee schedule clarifying that the $250 fee is applicable only for an appeal to the Building Code requirements. Furthermore, several members of the Committee assigned to revise the Building Code suggested reducing the application fee to $150. Staff has revised the fee ordinance and the revisions are shown in red on page 3 of the attached resolution. Staff has also corrected fee information for the Preliminary Plan and Minor Plat on page 5 of the attached resolution. |
