Summary:

The Water Advocacy Task Force was reinstated for the purpose of reviewing the progress that has been made on its July 2007 recommendation and reconfirm or redirect the proposals for the Mountain View Water Treatment Plant. The attached updated recommendation details the studies, plans, and policies that should be pursued in order to ensure the City of Rapid City has sufficient water resources through the year 2040 and further into the future.

The Water Advocacy Task Force Members include: J.P. Duniphan, David Emery, Mark T. Anderson, Lawrence Kostaneski, Hani Shafai, and Pete Cappa.
