Summary:

The Rapid City Area
Metropolitan Planning Organization, in conjunction with the City of Rapid
City Engineering Services Division, produces a yearly Traffic Volume Counts
Report. The counts contained within the report are collected over a single 24
hour period and seasonally adjusted. The counts are used for traffic
engineering and travel demand forecast modeling, and by the business
community and general public for decision making. A three year history of
volumes is provided for historical perspective.
