Request Authorization to Seek Proposals for Engineering Services for Cobalt Drive Sanitary Sewer Bypass, Project No. 14-2127 / CIP No. 50957.
Summary:
This project is for the construction of a bypass sanitary sewer main between the intersection of Auburn Drive and Haines Avenue and the western terminus of Cobalt Drive.  The bypass will redirect a significant amount of flow that is currently routed through a sanitary sewer main on Viking Drive.  The existing Viking Drive sewer main is near capacity and will likely exceed capacity in two to three years.
Funding Source & Fiscal Impact (if applicable):
The estimated design costs are $65,000.00 and the estimated construction costs, to date, are $465,000.00.  Funding for this project will come from the 0831 Utility Support Fund.
