Resolution No. 2013-120 to Declare as Surplus and Donate Property No Longer Needed for Public Purposes to Western Dakota Technical Institute
Summary:
The Fire Department has a 1987 Pierce Arrow fire truck that is no longer needed.  It is not likely to generate much money at auction, and Western Dakota Tech has expressed its interest in acquiring the truck for training and education of its fire science program students. The Fire Department has a strong relationship with WDT, and it is requesting the Council approve donation of the truck to WDT.

Fiscal impact is expected to be minimal.
