Agenda Title:
Authorize Mayor and Finance Officer to sign an amendment to the aerial photo contract with Fugro EarthData in the amount of $9,950.00 for additional data processing.
Summary:
The 2013 aerial photo project outlined a number of developed areas within Pennington County to be imaged. The vendor collected additional images, which part of their normal business practice. It is more cost effective for them to collect long swaths of images and to cut out the ones we requested than to fly the multiple smaller areas as individual collections. They have offered to process the remaining images.
Funding Source & Fiscal Impact (if applicable):
The funding will come from two sources: $6924.00 from the Aerial Photography line item in the CIP fund, and $3026.00 from the GIS budget.
