Agenda Title:
Authorize Mayor and Finance Officer to Sign Agreement and Release with Don and Jodie Bunker concerning replacement of water service line at 1905 38th Street, Rapid City.
Summary:
At the July 1, 2013 Council meeting, staff were directed to draft an agreement and release with the homeowners at 1905 38th Street where the City would reimburse homeowners for the past and future cost to replace their water service line.  This agreement has been drafted and homeowners have given their approval of it.  Staff were also directed to communicate with MDU concerning this matter.  A letter was sent and MDU has responded via email that it is their practice to disclose the locations of anode beds through SD OneCall.
Funding Source & Fiscal Impact (if applicable):
Council has not identified the funding source for its payment of the amounts included in the Agreement and Release.
