A request by Dream Design International, Inc. to consider an application for an Amendment to the Adopted Comprehensive Plan to change the Future Land Use designation from a Planned Residential Development with one dwelling unit per acre to General Commercial with a Planned Commercial Development on Tract AR2 of Needles Subdivision, Section 26, T1N, R7E, BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota, more generally described as being located at 1700 Catron Boulevard.


STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Amendment to the Adopted Comprehensive Plan to change the Future Land Use designation from a Planned Residential Development with one dwelling unit per acre to General Commercial with a Planned Commercial Development be continued to the December 15, 2008 City Council meeting to allow the completion of the notification of public hearing required as a result of the weather-related cancellation of the Planning Commission meeting of November 6, 2008.
