A request by Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc. for the City of Rapid City to consider an application for a Fence Height Exception to allow an eight foot high fence in lieu of a six foot high fence on the SW1/4 NW1/4 and the NW1/4 SW1/4, Section 34, T2N, R8E, BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota, more generally described as being located south of the intersection of Interstate 90 and Elk Vale Road approximately 3/4 of a mile.


PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION:
Public Works Committee recommended that the Fence Height Exception to allow an eight foot high fence in lieu of a six foot high fence be approved with the following stipulation:

Prior to the construction of the fence, the applicant shall obtain a building permit, and

2.

A vegetation bed be planted around the area.


STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
