No. 08OA002 – Ordinance Amendment

A request by City of Rapid City to consider an application for an Ordinance Amendment to add "antique stores" as a conditional use in Neighborhood Commercial Zoning District.

LEGAL AND FINANCE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION:
Legal and Finance Committee recommended that the Ordinance Amendment to add "Antique Stores - Retail Sale of antique furniture, artwork, and collectible merchandise to the general public with no outside display or storage " as a Conditional Use in Neighborhood Commercial Zoning District be approved.

 

PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Planning Commission recommended that the Ordinance Amendment to add "Antique Stores - Retail Sale of antique furniture, artwork, and collectible merchandise to the general public with no outside display or storage " as a Conditional Use in Neighborhood Commercial Zoning District be approved.

VOTE: (7 to 0 with Brewer, Brown, Collins, Gregg, LeMay, Rolinger and Scull voting yes and none voting no)
