No. 07VR006 - Blake's Addition

A request by Advanced Engineering for Frank Washburn to consider an application for a Vacation of Right-of-Way on Alley adjacent to Lots 9 thru 20 of Block 7 of Blake's Addition, Section 36, T2N, R7E, BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota, more generally described as being located on the Alley between East Boulevard North and North Maple Avenue and E. Philadelphia Street and E. New York Street.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Vacation of Right-of-Way be continued to the September 17, 2007 City Council meeting as the stipulation of approval has not been met.

PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION:
Public Works Committee recommended that the request to vacate a public alley be approved with the following stipulation:

Prior to approval by City Council the applicant shall file and record with the Register of Deeds office a Temporary Utility Easement and a Permanent Utility Easement, or the existing utilities shall be relocated.


PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Planning Commission recommended that the request to vacate a public alley be approved with the following stipulation:
