A request by Rimrock Estates, LLC for Heavy Constructors, Inc. to consider an application for an Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to change the land use designation from Flood Hazard to Medium Density Residential with a Planned Residential Development on Lot 1 of Knecht Park Subdivision, Sections 8 and 17, T1N, R7E, BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota, more generally described as being located southwest of the intersection of Idlehurst Lane and Jackson Boulevard.


PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Planning Commission
recommended that the Amendment to the Adopted Comprehensive Plan to change the land use designation from Flood Hazard to Medium Density Residential with a Planned Residential Development be continued to the September 17, 2007 City Council meeting.

VOTE: (6 to 3 with Anderson, Brewer, Brown, Derby, Etter and Scull voting yes and Collins, Landguth and LeMay voting no)
