A request by Fisk Land Surveying & Consulting Eng. for Thomas Lee to consider an application for a Variance to the Subdivision Regulations to waive the requirement to install curb, gutter, sidewalk, paving, street light conduit, dry sewer and water for the access easement(s) and to waive the requirement to install curb, gutter, sidewalk, street light conduit, dry sewer and water along West SD Highway 44 as per Chapter 16.16 of the Municipal Code and a Variance to the Subdivision Regulations to allow lots twice as long as they are wide as per Chapter 16.12 of the Municipal Code on Lots 2A and 2B of Lot 2 of Rimrock Ranch Subdivision, located in the NE1/4 of the NE1/4 and the SE1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 13, T1N, R6E, BHM, Pennington County, legally described as Lot 2 of Rimrock Ranch Subdivision, located in the NE1/4 of the NE1/4 and the SE1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 13, T1N, R6E, BHM, Pennington County, South Dakota, more generally described as being located 6905 West Highway 44.


PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Planning Commission recommended that the Variance to the Subdivision Regulations to allow lots twice as long as wide be approved and that the Variance to the Subdivision Regulations to waive the requirement to install curb, gutter, sidewalks, street light conduit, dry sewer and water for the access easement(s) and West S. D. Highway 44 be approved with the condition that the applicant sign an agreement to consent to a future assessment project for the improvements and that the Variance to the Subdivision Regulations to waive the requirement for paving the access easement(s) be denied.
