A request by Scott Kenner for the South Dakota School of Mines and
Technology to consider an application for a Special Exception to the Flood
Area Construction Regulations to allow water-monitoring structures in the
floodway on Tract 8, Rapid City Greenway Tracts, Section 3, T1N, R7E (also
in Sections 4 and 10, T1N, R7E), BHM, Rapid City, Pennington County, South
Dakota, more generally described as being located on Rapid Creek between
Fitzgerald Stadium and Storybook Island.
PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Planning Commission recommended that the Special Exception to
the Flood Area Construction Regulations to allow water monitoring structures in
the floodway be approved.
