A request by Scott Kenner for the South Dakota School of Mines and
Technology to consider an application for a Special Exception to the Flood
Area Construction Regulations to allow water-monitoring structures in the
floodway on Tract M-1 of the NW1/4, NW1/4 of Section 17, T1N, R7E, BHM,
Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota, more generally described as being
located on Rapid Creek northeast of the intersection of Magic Canyon Road and
Trout Court.
PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Planning Commission recommended that the Special Exception to
the Flood Area Construction Regulations to allow water monitoring structures in
the floodway be approved.
